It was summer and the park flourished. Beside all those other children a little bubbly girl played around; currently she was four years old, really clever for her age and not overly interested in her peers. Heretofore the games they played had always been to stupid to her.
While the chit scouted the playground her mother sat on a bench nearby.
One could sight, that the child moved to play in the sandbox. She sat down there and put her hands into the sand. She made the grains drain through her fingers and  looked down on it.
Immediately she jumped up and ran to her mother.
"What's up, darling?" she asked as her daughter fi

Der Raum war klein und überaus steril. Weiß die Wände, weiß die Stühle, weiß der Tisch zwischen ihnen. Sie mühten sich Reinheit auszustrahlen und das taten sie mit zwanghafter Effektivität. Es roch nach Krankenhaus, nach Desinfektionsmittel und Neutralität. Sie mochte den Geruch nicht. Er war so... ungewohnt.
Licht blendete sie, so hell, dass es alle Schatten im perfekt weißen Zimmer erstickte. Sie kniff die Augen zusammen und rümpfte die Nase ein wenig.
„Ja."
„Haben sie Geschwister?"
„Nein."
